Robert Tornabene is a retired law enforcement officer with 27 years of service, progressing to Bureau Chief. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Capella University and has over 17 years of crisis communications experience. Robert has worked as a Public Information Officer in Illinois and Colorado and teaches crisis communications at Texas A&M TEEX. He also hosts The PIO Podcast and frequently contributes to Police One. A Northwestern University graduate from the School of Police Staff and Command, he is an active shooter training and crisis plan development expert.
